UNEMPLOYMENT:

TAXES:
Filing deadline for federal and state of MA taxes has been extended to July 15, 2020.

FOOD:

Food/groceries: Contact local food pantry/school district in your town (most towns are providing assistance), you can also contact the QFRC to find access to food resources in your community.

LOANS:
Student Loans: The US government has stopped interest accrual on federal student loans. If you need further assistance paying college loans, please contact them to explain your situation. If you have private loans, contact your lender and discuss your options.

Auto loans: Contact your lender to discuss your options.

Car/Homeowners/Renters Insurance: Contact your insurance provider to discuss assistance options for payment.

Health insurance: Apply for Mass Health if you do not have health insurance at this time, open enrollment has been extended to April 25, 2020. Visit this website for up-to-date insurance information. https://www.benefits.gov/help/faq/Coronavirus-resources

Commonwealth Connector: The Commonwealth has extended open enrollment for Commonwealth Health Connector health insurance coverages through April 25, 2020. If you are an uninsured Massachusetts resident and wish to purchase health insurance this is an option to consider: www.mahealthconnector.org, telephone: 877.623.6765 / TTY 877.623.7773. Connector representatives can also assist with questions about MassHealth.

UTILITIES, ETC:
Internet: Xfinity is offering free wifi hotspots across the country.

National Grid: National Grid is not canceling accounts for nonpayment until the end of April.

Credit cards: Call your credit card company to discuss payment plan options.
