Mrs. McGeady, QHS Student Support Chairperson and Mrs. Nutley, NQHS Student Support Chairperson want to share information about the NAVIGATE 2020 Virtual Conference and College Fair. There are sessions planned that should be very helpful to counselors, students and families. Registration is required, but the event is free.

Students and families have lost opportunites in
their college search due to COVID-19.
NAVIGATE
2020 is free-of-charge to attendees and designed to help students and colleges
connect safely during the COVID-19 crisis. This event will be live for three
days, packed with informative sessions about the college decision process.
Students
browse college fair booths using a robust search tool on attributes like
geographic region, campus size, setting, and even majors offered. By design,
students will find college options which are new to them and will have time to
explore these options in-depth.
Interactive
features like 'chat now' and 'meet now' will engage students in real time. In
addition to hosting videos, quick links, and documents for download, this
virtual booth will also offer ways for students to connect after the event
through 'meet later' 'apply' and 'contact us' options.
After three
days of live interactions, this event website will stay up, available to
students until the COVID-19 crisis is over. This site will remain a
robust tool for students who want to explore post-secondary information
and options.
